Ochre Space brought Portuguese women photographers to the PIP Festival 2025 in China.
Ochre Space brought Portuguese women photographers to the PIP Festival 2025 in China, with a special curatorship by João Miguel Barros, presenting their work at one of the largest international gatherings of contemporary photography.
The works of Luísa Ferreira, Maria Oliveira, Sara Augusto, and Susana Paiva were presented by Ochre Space, reinforcing the gallery’s commitment to giving visibility to Portuguese women artists and fostering a cultural dialogue between Portugal and the international contemporary photography scene.
Under the theme Breaking Through the Boundaries · Seeing the Future with Wisdom, the PIP Festival brought together over 5,000 photographers from 34 countries and regions, featuring works from 117 institutions, 133 short videos, and more than 100 photobooks and handmade editions.
