MAGNUM PHOTOS WORKSHOP 2023

“Follow Your Intuition” led by photographers Newsha Tavakolian and Bieke Depoorter

From July 10–14, 2023, we hosted the “Follow Your Intuition” workshop in Lisbon, Portugal, led by photographers Newsha Tavakolian and Bieke Depoorter. Participants learned to forge deeper connections with their subjects and topics, focusing on shooting from the heart and creating meaningful images by following their intuition. The five-day workshop provided guidance on capturing authentic moments, encouraging photographers to move beyond external expectations and develop their unique visual storytelling style.
