Wang Zhengping (Inner Mongolia, China) is a photographer whose work explores the relationship between landscape, memory and cultural identity.
Born and raised in the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, he has spent more than fifteen years documenting the Mongolian horse and the changing realities of the steppe. Developed since 2009, this long-term project culminated in the publication of Mongolian Horse in North Wind (2024), considered one of the most significant recent works on nature and cultural landscape photography published in China.
His photographs combine documentary observation with a poetic sensibility, reflecting a deep personal connection to the land and traditions of Inner Mongolia.
