Ochre Space 2026 Programme
Celebrating the Year of the Horse.
In 2026, the Chinese New Year marks the Year of the Horse, a symbol of strength, movement, freedom, and endurance. Taking this as a point of departure, Ochre Space’s annual programme unfolds around the horse as a cultural, symbolic, and territorial presence.
Across four exhibitions, the programme brings together distinct artistic practices and geographies, exploring how this figure traverses histories, landscapes, and visual languages.
From June to November, Ochre Space will present:
- Wang Zhengping — Mongolian Horse in North Wind
16 June – 4 July
- A. Hin — -40º C
7 July – 25 July
- Hosoe Eikoh — Kamaitachi
15 September – 10 October
- Li Gang — Appearance and Abstraction
20 October – 14 November
Together, these exhibitions propose a dialogue between body and territory, gesture and environment, the visible and the invisible. The programme reflects Ochre Space’s ongoing commitment to presenting photography and visual culture within expanded cultural and historical frameworks.
