Bagena at Ochre Space: From Photography to Music, 30 Years Later

Ochre Space is honoured to welcome Bagena, the only photographer to have fully documented the iconic Chinese performance To Add One Meter to an Anonymous Mountain, for the opening of the exhibition To Add One Meter to an Anonymous Mountain and RongRong’s East Village, tomorrow, May 13, at 6:30 PM.

Coming directly from Beijing, Bagena will join us in Lisbon to offer a special moment: a live violin performance during the exhibition’s opening. After photographing the groundbreaking 1995 performance, Bagena shifted his focus from photography to music, eventually becoming a skilled and emotional violinist.
